How to Use the Route Finder

Your simple guide to finding and exploring bus routes in Madurai.

Two Ways to Search

The app has two main functions, organized into tabs: Find a Route to get from point A to B, and Explore to look up specific bus or stop information.

1. Find a Route (A → B)

Enter your origin and destination. The app suggests stops as you type.

Click "Find Routes" to see direct, one-transfer, and two-transfer options. Your recent searches are saved for quick access.

2. Explore Routes & Stops

In the "Explore" tab, search for a bus number or a stop name.

This lets you see a bus's full path or find all buses that pass through a particular stop.

3. View Route Details

In the results, click a bus number to see its specific path for your journey.

You'll see a highlighted path showing your journey, including the origin, destination, and all stops in between.

4. See the Full Route

Click "Show Full Route" to see all the stops for a selected bus from start to finish.

This helps you understand the complete journey of the bus, not just your travel segment.

5. Prioritize Major Hubs

Transfer routes via major bus stands are marked with a icon.

Use the "Filter by Hub" buttons to find routes that go through major, well-connected bus stands for easier transfers.

6. Share Your Route

Click the share icon on any result card to send the route details to others.

You can share a direct link or send neatly formatted text to apps like WhatsApp.
